Workforce Training & Executive Education

One of the biggest challenges for business is maintaining a qualified workforce. While this task can be daunting, we have partnerships with several groups that can help you. Our partners can provide everything you need to keep your employees well trained, safe, and productive.

Each year companies spend millions on training staff and training new hires.  To help reduce this cost the State of Texas and the US Department of Labor have generous programs that can help reduce this cost.  Yet, much of these training dollars go unused annually. The WCEDP is partnering with Workforce Solutions to bring those training dollars to our community.

Although workforce grants cannot be used for master degrees, if you need executive and technical education, Waller County is home to Prairie View A&M University.  Their accredited College of Business offers many graduate level business programs. In addition, PVAMU has an exceptional College of Engineering.
